Moneyball Podcast – the truth behind the NRLCEO stats saga (with Champion Data)

Moneyball Champion Data

It’s a long one, but it’s a good one.

We farewell host Phil who passes on the torch to up-and-caster Ted. Phil has a new gig, which he explains on the podcast, that means he can no longer host the show. We wish him all of this best and from all of us here at NRLCEO thank him profusely for all his hard work on the podcast. It won’t be the same without him.

Ted has a big chat to Christian Eshman who is the NRL Manager at Champion Data – our official stats provider. He asks him all about why different stats providers have different tackle counts, what constitutes a try assist and explains their stat recording process. It’s a must listen for NRLCEOs who have questioned the stats at any point this year.

Plenty of hilarious moments discussing fantasy footy, the cliche characters we all have in our CEO leagues and how much of a joke rep round is.
