Round 1 Dream Team

Rd 1 DT

There were a few obvious stars in the first round of this season.  One of them was drafted very early in every draft, but the other three are unheralded superstars who could prove to be great points of difference in your competitions if they keep it up.

Semi Radradra (16 points)

Ok. So it’s not like we couldn’t see this one coming.  Radradra gave many CEO’s a Semi in round one after a hat trick performance.  The top try scorer from the Nines is now equal top try scorer of the NRL as well.  His average pick across all drafts was #155 and was ranked 210th out of all CEO draft orders.  Quite simply, for a Round 20-25 pick his return so far has been amazing.

Greg Inglis (15 points)

This was to be expected.  Everyone knows the value of Greg Inglis in NRLCEO.  For the past few seasons he has been fantasy gold as a centre or fullback, so racking up 15 points was a great little bonus for everyone’s round one draft pick, but largely expected.  If he stays injury free he will surely score over 100 points again this season.

Vai Toutai (15 points)

Similarly to his Eels wing partner, Toutai was another very late draft pick for the majority of CEO’s.  His average was #176 and he was ranked 218th out of all players.  His hattrick return was unexpected in the first round but standing outside Will Hopoate on the sting, it won’t be the last time he scores freely in 2014.

Tyson Frizell (13 points)

On our latest podcast, Moneyball, the lads touted Tyson Frizell as a potential superstar for 2014 and after one game so far he has not disappointed.  A late round draft pick, if not a last minute free agency pick when named in the second row, two tries and a workhorse were a quality output for this unsung hero.  CEO’s will eagerly await his output stats over the next few weeks to judge his true value, but he looks to be a steal at this stage!
