Round 15 Dream Teams

Looking at the best performances each week to determine the Team of the Week and using the player’s season totals to determine the overall Dream Team for 2016 on a week by week basis.

Round 15 Team of the Week:

NRLCEO Team of the Week Round 15 2016

It was a low scoring round compared to the past couple of weeks.  The Titans have equaled the record for most representatives in the team equaling the Raiders (5) in Round 8. While two players getting five points and making the team seems low, it’s not the lowest score to make the team of the week. That honour goes to Blake Austin (4) in Round 1 this year.

Leading the charge was Ryan James (16) who brought up his NRLCEO century in style! He had a massive double workhorse, try, try assist, line break and line break assist. He just needed a metre eater for the perfect forward game but he was 20 metres short. It was his fifth double digit score this season alone and his second highest NRLCEO score of all time.

The next best score was Dragons rake Mitch Rein (13). He has been quietly chipping away quality NRLCEO scores and his fourth double workhorse this week combined with a try and line break netted him 13 points. He was just four metres away off a double metre eater too.

Before all the media circus started, Semi Radradra (12) was doing what Semi does best – scoring quality tries. His length of the field try also gained him valuable metres on the way to 218 total metres. So he ended with a double metre eater, try, try assist, line break and line break assist for 12 points – his fifth double digit score of the year.

We should also mention Luke Douglas (10). Fresh from his 250th NRL game, he scored his second ever double digit NRLCEO score and just the 13th try of his career.

Overall Dream Team:

NRLCEO Dream Team Round 15 2016

Each week we will accumulate the points for each player to come up with the Overall Dream Team for 2016.

Despite not playing over the weekend, the top dog is still James Graham ahead of Anthony Milford and a new third place – Ryan James. The Titan won the race to the NRLCEO century with a massive 16 point return – his fifth double point effort this year alone.

Forget all the contract disputes, let’s just hope Semi Radradra finishes the year doing what he does best – scoring tries. As you can see from his graph below he hasn’t had the most consistent season but has still racked up 82 points in 14 games, averaging six points per game. He is the only new entry to the Dream Team.
