Round 23 Dream Team

It didn’t even take anything special for the Dragons to beat their #Hoodoo against the Raiders.

Brett Morris made it look easy against some woeful defence. His spectacular hat trick included some acrobatic efforts which we have just come to expect from the twin. He now has six tries in his past four outings and 12 for the season.

The polarising figure of Jamie Soward is starting to glow at the foot of the mountains. Other teams hate playing him, particularly when he keeps slaying them! Through two tries of his own, a try assist, two line breaks and two line break assists Soward had possibly the most complete NRLCEO performance of the weekend and his first double digits score since Round 12. The only negative was him only kicking one goal – a threat for those who have him in the finals.

Geoff Adams praises Aiden Tolman in this week’s edition of workhorse watch and it’s easy to see why. A try and a double workhorse are just rewards for those CEOs (like myself) who have waited whilst he sat on the sidelines for eight of the last nine rounds.

A Founder of NRLCEO. Jamie spends far more time on running the site than his own team and is therefore a perennial struggler, much to the delight of his mates. He is a former Bears, now Raiders tragic. A rangy lock who avoided running the ball at all costs, he once tackled (flopped on) John Hopoate. Web geek by day, web geek by night.
