Round 8 Dream Team

Rd 8 DT

Two trouncings this week with the Cowboys and the Sea Eagles giving a touch up to the Eels and the Raiders respectively.  You would have expected more of their players to show up in the team of the week.

Andrew McCullough (16 points)

Two tries, a try assists, line break assist, line break and just 28 running metres away from a double workhorse.  It was a dominant performance in a losing side for the rake that has so far outshone all but Robbie Farah in 2014.

Jeff Robson (13 points)

Scored the match winning try and setup three others to complete a great round for the veteran half from Leeton.

Greg Inglis (11 points)

205 running metres is a great stat for a fullback.  Throw in a try, two try assists, two line break assists and a line break – just another week for those getting used to these dominant performances.

Cameron Smith (10 points)

Hookers have certainly been taking advantage of the increased running metres that seem to be coming from Champion Data.  Cameron Smith is one of those in the past that had the tackles but couldn’t get the metres and now he’s getting there on a regular basis.
