Give me Kirisome of that!

Kirisome

Straight to business today.

Kirisome Auva’a scored a try on debut last week which caught us all by surprise. While there is talk he isn’t guaranteed of playing this week, Souths surely go with their hot hand. Auva’a scored a double in the NSW Cup Grand Final last year when he was with the Storm. He was cheering then, unlike the awkward photo above.

I haven’t seen a lot of Auva’a I’ll be honest, but researching what I could and looking at the Souths situation, (Reddy as position competition and Souths returning to the winners circle) I would have a serious look at Auva’a as a replacement to your side.

David Fusitua is still Holden Cup eligible. Fusitua is a good player with great rep honors to his name. Fusitua also played at the NRL 9′s at the start of the year, signaling he is a player of the future. Now I can’t recommend Fusitua for NRLCEO’s just yet, but I have watched him closely and thought he is a class above. The Warriors situation doesn’t exactly breath confidence of any continuity in the starting line-up either. If DWZ is somehow still available in your League grab him instead. Sorry Warriors fans, you hated me already anyway.

Pauli Pauli is a lot bigger than I remember. This is great for any CEO’s that grabbed him when I first mentioned him, for those who heeded my warning on checking his maturity for being such a young forward, go and grab him, he looks to have the ability to keep himself in the NRL for the rest of the year. He only received 30 minutes on the weekend but in that time he racked up 22 involvements. So at that rate he needs to crack 58 minutes to start hitting workhorse numbers.

Kurtis Rowe got knocked out of the game through injury and you never wish that on a young player, especially one thrown in the deep end. He wasn’t at Tedesco levels Saturday night, but it is sink or swim when you’re thrown into NRL level too early. I’ll keep watching him. I never death ride any player, I hope he proves me wrong.

Moses Mbye continues his #19 streak. I got a chance to watch a bit of him in the Bulldogs loss to the Warriors and he is really knocking on the door. He looked a pro on Sunday and that’s all he can keep doing for now, when he gets his shot, I’m on and you should be too!
