Quickly, quickly, Pauli Pauli

Pauli Pauli

I’m going to start today’s write up on the topic of offloads. Two Holden Cup eligible players commanded the attention of the NRL community with their offloads last weekend.

Firstly a player I didn’t know had it in his game, Pauli Pauli. I’ve told you how big he was I had didn’t know he could set up tries the way he did last weekend. In an interview on Fox he credited the coaching staff for these improvements, in particular his fitness. What Pauli Pauli was actually saying was, “NRLCEOs I’m not going to lose any minutes with my fitness getting better, if I’m available you better get me into your side.”

Now to a player that if you’ve ever seen him play you’ve know about his offload. Bryce Cartwright played a solid game and his offloads got himself talked about. Expect more of the same from the Holden Cups best player. Just so you know for future seasons, Cartwright can kick goals.

Now in lesser detail David Fusitua looks to be in it for the long haul at the Warriors, I do love a Kiwi especially around Origin time. He has played far better than I expected proving I know nothing about football…

One player I have been right about though is Shannon Boyd. He will continue to get better and I stated at the start of the year he will take his opportunity and keep his spot, he has and he will continue to.

Fa'amanu Brown

Lastly for this Origin special one of my favourite players has been named on the bench. Sharks Fa’amanu Brown will add something extra as a back up hooker. Brown is an amazing talent and I’m more inclined to think his best position is hooker at this stage rather than half. I know a Sharks player is a tough sell at the moment but have a look.
