Round 12 Dream Team

Rd 12 DT

A tough round for footy tipping with a number of upsets this week including the Cowboys and Broncos. So who makes our Dream Team for this week?

Daniel Tupou was the star of the week. His hat trick was topped with three line breaks and a line break assist for a total of 16 points. It is the second hat trick of his short 39 game NRL career.

Jamie Soward played a starring role for the Panthers in their demolition of the Eels in the Western Sydney derby. He scored a try, kicked five goals, had three try assists, a line break and two line break assists. It gave him a total of 13 points (23 with conversions) for his first double digit score of 2014.

After promising so much early on in his career for little reward on NRLCEO, Tyrone Peachey finally repaid all of those patient CEOs who kept him in their squads based on promise. He scored two electrifying tries, got the third workhorse of his career and made one line break. Let’s hope he can keep it up!

Dale Copley and Manu Vatuvei each scored doubles for 11 points each as well.

He is a former Bears, now Raiders tragic. A rangy lock who avoided running the ball at all costs, he once tackled (flopped on) John Hopoate. Web geek by day, web geek by night.
