Top 10 Five-eighths of 2015

Blake Austin

Not many people would have picked this at the start of the year! The former Tiger who has now been at three clubs in his short career was expected to be good at the Raiders. but not this good! Blake Austin has scored 13 tries this season which is a remarkable effort for a five-eighth, with 15 line breaks to go with it. He has seven try assists and a total of 84 NRLCEO points.

More of a half back than a five eighth these days, but still listed on NRLCEO as a half, Johnathan Thurston is near the top of the NRLCEO scoring every year. With the Cowboys firing he is easily justified as a first round pick. His 84 points have come from a massive 23 try assists and 24 line break assists. He has two of his own tries and 64 goals to go with it.

Rounding out the top three is James Maloney and Anthony Milford. Maloney has been in great try scoring form with seven tries and 14 try assists providing super value alongside his 71 goals. Milford on the other hand is a noted try scoring machine and his 78 points have come from eight tries, 11 try assists and 14 line break asssists.

A Founder of NRLCEO. Jamie spends far more time on running the site than his own team and is therefore a perennial struggler, much to the delight of his mates. He is a former Bears, now Raiders tragic. A rangy lock who avoided running the ball at all costs, he once tackled (flopped on) John Hopoate. Web geek by day, web geek by night.
