Give Jake Mamo a go?

Jake Mamo

Welcome to Round 2 and if you’re like nearly everyone else, you’re looking for a rookie or two to bolster your squad after a few early injuries!

Isaah Yeo took us by surprise last week and debuted for the Penrith Panthers. Yeo has speed to burn and trialled very well this pre season. Yeo was apart of the Panthers Holden Cup winning side last year. He will pop up in team lists somewhere again even when Jamal Idris returns.

Jake Mamo is the name on everyone’s lips in the Holden Cup world. Bagged a hat trick of tries with vision and speed last week he now sees himself as the 19th man. A Fullback or winger he could get a chance soon, but perhaps wait to hear how Gidley and Roberts are travelling.

At the Bulldogs Moses Mbye remains 18th man, we will continue to wait for something more concrete.

Stay away from fullback hopeful Pat Templeman, rumors are flying that Reece Robinson will make his way to Belmore in a mid season transfer.

At the Rabbitohs Dylan Walker looks like the most excited back after GI. In a team that will win plenty of games this year, he is the second Souths back I would be picking. He did fine job at 5/8, if he gets moved it will be back to centre where he still scored well for CEO’s last season.
