Take him or Brenko Lee-ve him…

Another round of footy and while the injury toll mounts up that means one great thing, more U20’s making their debuts. Let’s take a look at your potential pickups.

Brenko Lee

Brenko Lee has huge wraps on him he made his debut last week. Lee has a fair bit of size and pace, but unfortunately whenever I’ve watched him he has made too many errors and it’s over shadowed any good he has done. If you are looking for a winger ask a Raiders supporter for their honest opinion. I couldn’t recommend him to you but he does have enough wraps on him that someone could take him. Act quickly if your interested because at this time of the year Rookies don’t last long.

I can’t believe Bryce Cartwright has been dropped back to 18th man. I was surprised he was NRL so early, I knew the Panthers would take it slow with him but he did more then enough to keep his spot. Keep your ears out during the week for the whispers of Penriths ins and outs because the kid is a star.

More 18th man news now and Kelepi Tanginoa has been named on the extended bench for Parramatta. A somewhat regular in his second year in NRL it’s easy to over look that he only turned 20 this year. The junior blues representative has arms the size of basketballs!

Charly Runciman

A few years ago when Shaun Kenny-Dowall was moved to the centres and had some great games I think it was Fittler who made comment that he wasn’t surprised how well he went when moved in from the wing because he actually had been a centre in lower grades. My point is that the Dragons have named Charly Runciman on the wing and I want everyone to remember he is a centre, a good centre that played beyond the Holden Cup level last year.

Thanks for reading everyone. Remember I’m on Twitter (@NYCReportLeague) if you wish to bag or praise me. Let me know if you’ve taken some of my advice!
